People v. Jonathan F. -- Our client was charged with engaging in a gun battle on the streets of Brooklyn during which an innocent by-stander, a nine year old boy, was shot in the head. The jury acquitted him of the homicide charge and convicted on an assault count. People v. Nolia H. -- The client, a New York City public schoolteacher, was suspended from work after she was accused of assaulting a neighbor. After an extended bench trial in Brooklyn, she was cleared of all charges and resumed work. People v. Jack C. -- Our client was charged with threatening to kill a Manhattan prosecutor. See here. We successfully moved to dismiss the indictment, resulting in a ruling that removed the most serious charges against him. People v. Brandon V. -- Client acquitted by jury of Attempted Murder Second Degree after jury trial. People v. Rodney B. -- Charges dismissed against man accused of armed robbery when we presented, as an alibi defense, that client was on Facebook at the time of the offense. Eric B. -- Client acquitted of First Degree Robbery of a check cashing store after jury trial. The client was charged with robbing the store at gunpoint with another unapprehended individual and making off with $90,000. He was later identified in a lineup by a witness. People v. Wang Z. -- The client was charged with multiple counts of Rape in the First Degree involving his ex-wife and pre-trial we were able to negotiate a reduction of all charges and the client was allowed to plead guilty to a violation (not a crime) without jail-time. People v. Jack B. -- After trial, the jury acquitted the client on a charge of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree after he was accused of trying to stab his live-in girlfriend to death with a ten-inch bread knife while intoxicated.
